Non-governmental organization “Open Policy Foundation” was founded in 2008.
A certificate of state registration is No. 36304445 of 30 December 2008.
MISSION
Science – for Peace, Education – for Everyone! Cherish a people-friendly space.
GOAL
The goal is to cherish the traditional European values, as well as values of sustainable development in local communities and at the transnational level; to expand the access of children and young people to quality education; to develop the scientific and innovative potential of Ukraine.

MAIN TASKS OF THE FOUNDATION
Expand access to quality innovative education in the context of decentralization, create conditions to search for talents (including those from temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons, children and youth from remote regions, rural areas and with special needs).
Improve the quality of education primarily in rural areas, hard-to-reach regions, Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, as well as develop specialized scientific education for gifted children, introduce the latest STEM/STrEAM methods at state and non-state schools in combination with green values.
Strengthen the mental health of citizens taking into account the special gender-related needs among all age groups.
Advocate for the needs of access and quality of education, as well as mental health, to influence the formation of public policy.
Strengthen institutional capacity of local communities, synergy at local, regional, national and transnational levels in advocacy, promotion and implementation of innovative security projects in the context of modern challenges (decentralization, global climate change, military conflicts, etc.).

Develop and implement the STrEAM education model in formal, nonformal and informal education systems.

From Dreams to Action!
Conduct advocacy campaigns to improve the national regulatory framework in terms of ensuring equal access to quality education regardless of a residence place.
AN ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
The highest governing body of the Foundation is the General Meeting and, between the General Meetings, the Foundation’s Management Board and the Executive Directorate.
Founders of the non-governmental organization are political analyst Ihor Zhdanov, historian Iryna Zhdanova, painter Oksana Denysevych, ecologist Oksana Patselyuk, and people’s master Olga Shynkarenko.
The Foundation’s Management Board: Denysevych Oksana Petrivna, Patselyuk Oksana Viktorivna and Shynkarenko Olga Volodymyrivna.
The Executive Director of the Open Policy Foundation is Iryna Zhdanova, PhD in History.
