Open Policy Foundation has provided suggestions to ensure equal access to quality education for the next 5 years:
- development of the distance education in the secondary school as a response to the challenges of war and optimization of the schools network during decentralization;
- information campaign in support of inclusive education and also on providing information about the tools of getting Ukrainian quality education for children living on temporary uncontrolled and temporarily occupied territories;
- development of the various models of financing and management of educational institutions in the various regions as a response to the risks of decentralization;
- response to the risks of increasing the number of children who may be out of school because of implementation the family forms of education that is fixed in the draft law "On education" (voted in first reading)
The head of the Open Policy Foundation Iryna Zhdanova discussed these proposals with Mr. Philippe Testot-Ferry, Senior Advisor for Education, UNICEF Regional Office in Geneva.
