Friendship? Yes! Children from the USA presented a trip to the International Green School for children from eastern Ukraine

The winter season is already over, but there is a desire to see the winter Carpathians and gain new knowledge at the International Green School. Do you want to ride on the sleds in the Carpathians but don’t know how to find time for this activity? This question has already been addressed for schoolchildren from Kramatorsk school № 8 and Ocheretyne school from the Donetsk region. They have a great opportunity to visit the International Green School at no cost.

Schoolchildren from the small town of Lyons, New York, together with their teacher Eric Lewis have collected charitable assistance. And now, thanks to their help, schoolchildren from Donetsk region, who know what is war, "Grad" military weapon, and landmines, can visit the Green School. Friendship? Yes!

The session is going to be held from 12 to 20 February in the village of Kosmach, Kosiv district of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

In the program:

- classes on robotics and engineering conducted by teachers from the Kolomyia Polytechnic College, head - Andriy LYASHENYK, Director of the Kolomyia Polytechnic College, Candidate of Technical Sciences
- classes on experimental chemistry, biochemistry, and nanochemistry in the laboratories of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University and the Chernivtsi National University. Teachers:
- Yuriy KHALAVKA - Associate Professor of the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, founder of the "Ukrainian Scientists in the World" Community, Candidate of Chemical Sciences
- Andriy KANAK – Researcher of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of Solids and Nanoparticles, Institute of Biology, Chemistry and Biological Resources of the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, Candidate of Chemical Sciences
- Oleh LUSHCHAK – doctoral candidate of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of the Institute of Natural Sciences of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Candidate of Biological Sciences

- Speaking club with a native speaker, Peace Corp volunteer Janine WINN

- filming a video clip together with the film crew: Pavlo MUDRUY – cameraman, Dmytro MUDRUY - operator of quadrocopter, young journalists of TV studio "Televitaminka", Ternopil city

- master class on traditional Hutsul art and dances

- tours in Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk

- the multiplicative workshop, teacher - Olena MUDRA, треба написати хто вона, журналіст? children's film studio "Televytaminka"

- classes on media literacy with Irina GRIGORIEVA, teacher of Kramatorsk secondary school №8


- funny racing on the sleds
